His Fine Linen is a small, family-run devotional studio. We care deeply about the trust you place in us, and we try to treat your information the way we would want ours treated. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

  • Your email address, if you subscribe to the Sunday Letters newsletter or download a free resource.
  • Order and payment information, if you purchase from the shop. Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive your email, order details, and general billing information, but we never see or store your full card number.
  • Basic analytics such as pages viewed, device type, and approximate location, gathered anonymously through Google Analytics with IP anonymization.
  • Anything you send us by email or through the contact form.

How we use it

We use your information to send the emails you asked for, deliver the products you bought, answer your questions, and understand which writing and resources are helpful so we can keep making more of what serves you. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone outside the tools listed below.

Third-party services

A few trusted services help us run the site:

  • Stripe processes payments and stores order records securely.
  • Kit (formerly ConvertKit) holds our newsletter list and sends the Sunday Letters.
  • Google Analytics helps us understand aggregate traffic patterns.
  • Pinterest is used for the site owner's own marketing account (see below).
  • Supabase hosts our database and stores order and account information.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to read.

Pinterest scheduling tool

The site owner uses a personal Pinterest scheduling tool that connects to the owner's own Pinterest account through the Pinterest API to publish the owner's own pins. This tool accesses only the owner's own Pinterest boards, pins, and account data. It does not collect, request, or receive any information from site visitors' Pinterest accounts, and visiting this site does not connect your Pinterest account to anything.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies: essential ones that keep the site working (such as your cart and login session), and analytics cookies that help us measure traffic. Analytics cookies are only set after you accept them through the cookie banner. You can clear cookies at any time in your browser settings.

How long we keep it

Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Order records are kept as long as needed to support your purchase and to meet our tax and accounting obligations, generally seven years. Anonymous analytics data is retained per Google Analytics defaults.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to show you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter with one click at the bottom of any email. Just write to us and we will take care of it promptly.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
